You must be rising
like the sun in my life
for all the warmth
and light you bring,

and sweet songbirds sing
melodies in the morning
dawning on me.

 

New horizons appear
whenever you're near,
and you touch me
with your presence,
the vital essence
of all that you are.

 

You must be a star
crowning the night,
and my world is bright
with your glow.

You must be, I know,
some celestial wonder
as I stand here under
the heavens you grace.

 

It's so very nice
to be here with you,
and all I need to do
to be happy
is to find myself
